Al Reed Lead Vocalist

Singer/songwriter, Al Reed is the son of Big Al Reed, who used to play Bass and sometimes rhythm guitar with Buddy Holly back in the Texas Barn dance days. His mother sang in high school with Sidro’s Armada, the longest running Casino Act in history still going strong. You might say Al has music in his veins. Beginning at 16 years old, Al cut his teeth opening for several local rock stars bands who made it out of San Diego to the big time and continued throughout his musical career traveling all over the globe with various Acts. With his roots in San Diego, he also played the Pacific Northwest Hotel circuit for 10 years and spent 12 years playing Major casinos with his band AM FM Reno as a member of the MGM family. Boasting a huge library of lyrics, he is finally ready to emerge as an artist. His writing partnership with Andrew Fakhouri has been a great experience. Andrew and the rest of the band brings to life these original songs in the way they were intended to be, appealing to a wide demographic of listeners while still keeping the rock a distinct Rock Edge.

Andrew Fakhouri Lead Guitarist

Andrew Fakhouri has played Lead/Rhythm Guitar for more decades than he wants to remember, Picking
up his first guitar at age 13 he lays down the riffs only a highly accomplished rock and blues player (with a
dash of funk) can deliver. Andrew has worked along side some of San Diego most talented band members . He’s been influenced by such great guitarist as Neil Schon, Jim Matheos, Warren Haynes, and Joe Bonomassa. Andrew has entertained
music fans from all demography and has entertained in front of crowds of over 6,000. Andrew’s philosophy
is “I want to connect the music to the listener in a way that moves them and create that emotion within
that lifts their spirit”.

Eric Koch AKA Johnny Rhinestone Bass and Vocals

Eric Koch, AKA –Johnny Rhinestone– has been playing guitar and bass and singing professionally since he was 15 years old in many different groups and excels in many styles of music. He is a great creative force for the band laying down a solid foundation and catchy bass lines that support and are cohesive with the songs that Al and Andrew have written for this project.

Mike Backman Drums And Vocals

Mike Backman is a veteran local San Diego drummer originally from Oregon. Mick AKA –The Animal– has a great rock feel and style of drum playing that makes his playing unique. His solid timing and superb feel for the rock groove shows he’s a very experienced rock drummer and very dedicated to his craft.
